EAP courses are delivered by CCEL’s academic partner the University of Canterbury. EAP is for students who need to improve their academic English and develop the study skills required to succeed in tertiary study before continuing their studies at the university.

Students can transfer from CCEL's General English course into EAP without taking IELTS. The EAP entry test is offered at CCEL every 7 weeks. Students who pass the test can transfer directly to the EAP course.
