Last weekend the people of Christchurch were invited to learn more about Chinese culture in the annual Chinese Lantern Festival. The festival was held in Hagley Park for the first time this year, and the change of venue did not deter people from coming - with 40,000 people visiting the festival on its opening night. The festival included performances from local and international Chinese acts, traditional Chinese food and of course beautiful Chinese lanterns! Many CCEL students and staff attended the festival and really enjoyed the chance to experience more of Chinese culture. CCEL is delighted to announce that we are the latest addition to the global Cambridge exam centre network.

The first exams run by CCEL in 2012 will be FCE and CAE in March. We will also run the usual exams in June and December, and plan to run extra FCE and CAE exams in August. Please note that we are also an open test centre for the Cambridge TKT exams.
